You will be treated
as an individual and partner in the
care and attention you receive. You
will be given courtesy and respect
at all times irrespective of your
ethnic origin, religious beliefs,
personal attributes or the nature of
your health problem.
We respect your right to privacy and
keep all your health information
confidential and secure.
It is important that the NHS keeps
accurate and up-to-date information
about your health and treatment in
order that all professionals
involved in your care can give the
best possible advice.
Your responsibilities are equally
important to us and include letting
us know if you are unable to attend.
We ask that you treat the doctors,
all practice staff and visitors to
the practice with the same courtesy
and respect.
Abusive and
Violent Patients
The practice adopts a zero tolerance
to violent or abusive patients.
Violent or seriously abusive or
threatening behaviour towards any of
the practice staff or other persons
present on the practice premises
will result in the immediate removal
of a patient from our practice list.
Family members of
these patients will also be removed
from our list. Violent patients and
their families will now forfeit the
right to be registered with a doctor
of their choice. They will be
allocated to specialist GP practices
by the PCT.
