The Fund is responsible for the maintenance of this equipment including safety and accuracy checks and the provision of all consumable accessories. The needles required for the acupuncture treatment available at Wembury Surgery are also provided by the fund.

Money is mainly raised through generous donations from appreciative residents, often in memory of loved ones. The specialised equipment increases the range of care that the practice is able to offer to the community with some procedures replacing the need for hospital appointments.
